I hope you don't mind this shameless self-promotion. I've been a forum member here a while (some of you may have heard my interviews with Craig and Medium Tex on my podcast The Voluntary Life) and I genuinely think this will be of interest to many of the PP'ers here.

Awesome job, Jake! Looks like a great book. I like the length, too: 89 pages is short and sweet; perfect for a self-improvement-type book, IMHO.

So I don't own a tablet or e-reader, but I'm actually getting a kindle this week (35th birthday  )

As soon as I get I'll pick this up Jake, even if I have to pay.

Kshartle, just to let you know-  you don't actually need a kindle to get the ebook. You can buy kindle books and read them on Amazon's free Kindle app which is available on pretty much any platform (e.g. on your PC, Mac, phone, tablet, etc.). Amazon stores your kindle purchases on their server and allows you to download them on multiple devices.

So you can get the free book now, and then send it to your shiny new kindle at the weekend. I will be honoured to be the first book on there!

Thanks for the info Jake, I'm always the last to adopt technology, I need to work on that. I'm a voracious reader and realized it was stupid constantly ordering books, waiting for them, sticking them on shelves and everywhere else. I went threw and tossed out about 30 last week (kept all the Harry Browne's though).

Yours will be the first on there!

we have a mermaid night club downtown, it has a huge tank above the bar with mermaids swimming back and forth...   very entertaining

great idea even if it has been done...

I read this when you first released it.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  It was great to see how you crystalized many of the thoughts that you had been exploring with your podcast.

Well then, since it's been done before, a suggestion for moda is to modify the sales pitch toward "ghost mermaids" (or ghost mermans) for his friends; might even expand the potential group from just the mermaid believers.  I wonder if that has been done before?

lol not that i know of..  the mermaids were definitely fun to watch and strangely enough combined with alcohol they continued to be entertaining all night long
the only disappointment was that i was expecting Japanese pearl diver caliber breath holding ability, and the girls never stayed under much longer than a average smoker could.... oh well....  the rest was just what you imagine, beautiful girls, shell tops, shimmery tails and blowing air bubble rings etc...

PS ..Jake.. i have snagged a copy of the book ..looking forward to reading it..
