A very small taste of what's to come as the FDA exerts its new powers over food and farming. ::)  Thank you, Congress!

A sense of disbelief and distress is quickly rippling through the U.S. artisan cheese community, as the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) this week announced it will not permit American cheesemakers to age cheese on wooden boards.

One of my friends happens to own a goat cheese farm, so I heard about this as soon as it happened. The outrage was fast and furious, and the FDA has already backpedaled, denying they even did anything to begin with! ::) Buncha fascists.

I highly recommend the movie Artois The Goat, a film about goat cheese making in which this exact thing takes place, as a matter of fact. Wonderful film!

This won't stop until they are worse than the soviets. There is more wealth to plunder here so more laws are on the way. They will be growing exponentially.
