I feel like there's an interesting thread in there.

if you want a great conspiracy theory and some interesting 1960s history you should read inside the LC http://www.whale.to/b/inside_the_lc1.html its HUGE a 10 part history, but an entertaining and informative read (even with a skeptical mind). i really don't know how much of this i buy, but it sure has enough coincidence and circumstantial evidence to make me wonder...

That was just plain creepy.  I had not heard of Laurel Canyon before, or all the connections.

The sudden appearance of a giant music industry where there was none, the connections all the main movers had with high ranking military/military intelligence, and the conveniently located Laurel canyon (secret) military movie/propaganda /?? base, then all the other strange interconnections on top of that is a bit mind boggling...
Definitely one of the more fun conspiracy theories I've read in a while!
