Modi's landslide election victory in India is a huge seachange for the world's largest democracy because it has overturned the corrupt Nehru-Gandhi political dynasty that has stifled the country in endless socialism and bureaucracy since 1947. And unlike Obama, Modi actually has 12-years of practical experience of walking the talk (cutting red tape, fighting corruption, building infrastructure) when he was head of a state. Modi could also light a fire under gold demand if his new government gets rid of the 10% import duty and the requirement that 20% of all imports be re-exported. India definitely falls into the "60% Club" although its a little late from the actual bottom.
