The school has a $400 million endowment.

That's amazing.  I wonder where it came from.

It's a Christian liberal-arts college.  Isn't that an oxymoron?  I imagine freethinkers like me aren't too welcome.  After all, its in Missouri.  That's like the state with a massive population of Evangelicals, isn't it?

I really get tired of this left and right divide.

I think that honor goes to Standard.  Berkeley is a left winging, liberalism orgy.  That's not smart, that's cultist.  You can tell a Berkelyite when you see a short haired chick with black horn rimmed glasses and multitudes of earrings (sometimes nose) and tattoos working at Starbucks and looks lesbian.  It's comical how people conform their physical appearance to conform to imputed social roles.

Yeah, Standford.  I think it's all an in-group vs out-group thing.  Which is reinforced by social environment you choose to participate in.  Yet, what social environment are you aware of that consistently prizes objectivity and honesty over faith, agendas, emotionalism and biases?  Not holding my breath.

You may think evolution is quack stuff, but repeatable confirmed observations and idea survival competition counts as evidence compared to faith.  Faith, by definition, doesn't have or require the same intellectual rigor.
