I'd quit any and every job that forced me to strap a camera to my face so I could spy on my customers, or anyone for that matter.

Thanks Google for leading the charge into our privacy free society!  The government may have started the fire, but you made it "cool," or at least socially acceptable.

When Google Glass receives a wide release, the price will drop significantly, as will the prestige associated with owning the device. And once that happens, it will finally become obvious who really has the power.

Google Glass is a failure.  It won't become widespread.  It's quietly being dropped.  Just another in a long line of B.S. from Google.  I do like their new long-term venture, Calico, though!

So, what does everyone think of my new Google Glass?  It's from their "Sport-ecutive" line.

Reminds me of those mics/earpieces that were all the rage in a few years ago.

Started off with hyper-busy people being conspicuously connected all the time, migrated into retail and now, well you don't really see them anywhere.

In thirty years time I see some archeologist routing through a rubbish dump in Mexico looking for a cache of Glasses a la Atari ET cartridges, which I suspect will similarly mark it's peak utility.

I figured that the earpieces were the first step down the road to the "cyborgization" of a subset of our population, but happily this appears not to have been the case.  It was just another dopey fad like the tic many business people developed a few years back of constantly talking about where their thinking was positioned in relation to "the box."
