If you ask me, they are a great untapped market for AR-15 type "build it yourself" weapons. I came thiiiiiiiiis close to getting a hipster friend of mine to rush out and buy a lower receiver after taking him to the range to shoot mine. And this was with him starting from a vaguely anti-gun state of mind!

Are hipsters aware they're a complete mockery to everyone else or are they oblivious to it?  It just seems to me just to be another fad for a coming of age generation (Y?).  It'll pass and then it'll be onto the next in-group fad (Z?).  Have all the predictions about Generation X come true yet?
