Stock: A career path with high pay but high instability.  Examples: Entrepreneurship, Finance, Tech, etc.

Bond: A career path with low pay and high stability.  Examples: Government, tenured professors, medicine, etc.

It seems PP may be more suitable for people with a "Stock"-like career as those with more of a Bond-like career has higher certainty of making back money they lost in the market if there's enough time before retirement.

Definitely a bond, and not of the 007 variety.

My guess is that most jobs in medicine are nurses, technicians, etc; jobs which are always in demand, but without a whole lot of pay, and generally not requiring a huge amount of education.

Could even include doctors' secretaries, insurance billing specialists, etc.

Unfortunately, I'm a stock.  Don't love the uncertainty of my future income, but it is what it is.
