Gyroscopic Investing

I have TLT (20 year bonds) as the bond portion of my PP.  I there a safer, more laddered ETF, for the Bond portion? If bonds get murdered on higher interest rates, won't this fund suffer big time?

Thank you for the reply. I was looking at all the offerings for different maturity dates. Of course HB doesn't recommend corp bonds for the safety but they are spread out with lots of companies I see lowering the risk some.

Please remember that bonds are only one part of the PP. The portfolio should be considered in it's entirety and not in its individual parts.
