Gyroscopic Investing

I realized today that I had entered my cost basis for my bonds not as the principal only, but as the net amount (with accrued interest) when I bought them at Vanguard. Fixing this saw some instant returns/not losses.

Huzzah!

How happy are we when we get unexpected instant returns? Happier than a dog who gets to ride in the back of the truck.

That's not a dog, it's my old girl friend.  I recognize the fangs.
