Tony Soprano Actor Dies At 51

James Gandolfini, who portrayed mobster Tony Soprano, passed away today at age 51 of an apparent heart attack. He definitely had reached the pinnacle of success with his compelling role. Personally, I never missed an episode.
He's swimming with the fishes now.

Was just about to re-watch The Sopranos from the beginning. No question I'll appreciate it more this time around.

Vince Flynn died today, too. 47 from prostate cancer. Scary!!

Sad news. "Memorial Day" is the only one of his books that I read. I liked it a lot.

Sad to hear. I've read all of his novels except his latest. A great CIA/espionage writer. Will miss his Mitch Rapp character.

He was the perfect fit for the Tony Soprano role (stating the obvious). I can't think of another actor that could have made that character/show what it became.
