Unexpected consequences of gardening supplies

It might be probable cause for an armed search of your home... ::).

Probable cause apparently extends to the equipment necessary to grow indoor tomatoes, such as hydroponics, plastic trays, or...*gasp* potting soil!

One of these days I'm going to compile a list of all of this crap and the next time somebody tells me I'm being overly dramatic for saying I feel like I'm living with the Gestapo, I'll whip it out and read the litany.  Anymore if you aren't getting your house searched by the cops and CPS for posting a picture on facebook of your kid holding their gun (that they are registered and have passed the required gun safety course to have), then you're getting busted for suspicious gardening supplies.  My personal favorite is NY state, where they openly practice racially targeted "stop and frisk."

Links change, web sites get updated, and articles just magically "disappear".  Better to download the page itself, or do screen shots or page scrapes.
