Soft capital controls.

Like the proverbial frog in a pot of boiling water.

What really gets me is that it seems impossible to get any of these terrible laws repealed. It's like nobody believes it's even possible.

How can you when no one in Congress even reads the B.S. they pass where this crap is snuck in?

I am keeping a weary eye on whether it would be profitable to taxtattletale on Congress critters for fun and profit.  By damn, if they're going to force this B.S. on us, they are going to follow it themselves, come hell or high water.

We comment on this in the book that it's very likely most high echelon political leaders in most countries probably keep money outside of where they live in some form. Could be accounts, or could be real estate "vacation homes", but they all likely do it.

Are Swiss financial institutions turning away ALL USA customers, or just individuals?  I mean, are USA businesses excluded from Switzerland, too?

I've been wondering how they could continue in business at the levels they have had in the past if they exclude every entity with an American connection.

I'm sure TBTF institutions are excluded from this policy, as everyone knows they would NEVER be involved in anything unethical!
