Meeting In Person

I don't travel much for work or leisure, but I would love to meet anyone here who makes it to the Minneapolis area with an hour to kill for lunch or a beer.
I'd encourage anyone else who feels similarly to shout out their home city for anyone to be able to know to reach out to you. I know I've probably pissed off most people here at some point, but would be open to buying you a beer to make up for it

.

San Jose! I'd love to meet some of the fine folks here in person.

Mainland China!
We could meet up over some stir fried chicken feet. With the toenails still on, of course. Since those are the best part.

Shut UP, that is awesome!
What's Addis like? I've heard some crazy stories about the traffic there!

Haha... I never tried the chicken feet when I was there. I did, however, try goose, and I found it to be one of the best meats I have ever tried. Goose has the richness of a nice steak to me.

Frankly it is not that bad. I have seen worse. What is bothering though are the exhaust fumes. One car of five spits a black cloud... Well, with taxes of 200% on imported new cars, go figure why people drive their old cart until the wheels drop off.

There are a few of us in NYC. After the subway comes back online, anyone interested in a get-together?

I also look at this as if any of us go on business trips we can meet up with people. For instance notsheigetz I was just in Tampa, Fl for work out at the Lockheed Martin Clearwater, FL plant.
I visit friends down in Texas every year too from college in the Fort Worth area (fly into DFW), I suppose near you MediumTex. Ooo I can get you to sign my Permanent Portfolio book! That should raise the value of it by at least $1 and I'll call it part of my Variable Portfolio!
