Gyroscopic Investing

Has anyone used AAII's Stock Investor Pro for the speculative portion? Any thoughts on whether it was useful or how it was used would be helpful.

It uses fundamental data from CompuStat which is obscenely expensive to access.

But Fidelity uses CompuStat also and provides it free on the web.
