Hilarious but sad
I just heard a couple of radio advertisements for Larry King's upcoming Success 2012 seminar. This seminar features among other people, "America's leading personal finance author, Suze Orman," and "legal expert Erin Brockovich." I think Larry King has nearly cornered the market on celebrity expert dumbasses with the one exception that Robert Kiyosaki's name does not appear among the presenters. I nearly drove my car off the road when I heard this since I was laughing so hard.
That noted "legal expert" Ering Brockovich has zero legal training: she is a former secretary in a law practice who apparently helped the lawyers in her firm extort millions of dollars in a bogus class action lawsuit years ago. As for Suze Orman, well, I can point to virtually any regular poster on this forum as being a superior source of financial advise.
Of course If Suze and Erin don't interest you, you can always attend to get the combined wisdom of George Foreman and Shaquille O'Neal.
We truly live in an age of Celebrity Experts.

I assume Donald Trump wasn't available.

They'd better be careful with their wording. The technical definition of "alien" has the "alien" option dangerously similar to the "not an American" option.Simonjester wrote:he is to busy getting ready for the big announcement i suspectMediumTex wrote: I assume Donald Trump wasn't available.

Some are saying that Trump will release divorce papers that were filed in 2000 by the Obama's.
Normally I would say that this was way out of bounds but I do recall something about divorce papers that were released during one of Obama's election runs against the popular Jack Ryan in Chicago for the US Senate seat (his ex was Jeri Ryan of 7 of 9 fame). Jack Ryan was forced to resign from the Senate race as a result.

Are you referring to the case of that water contamination of tri-chromium or something that was featured in the movie?FarmerD wrote: That noted "legal expert" Ering Brockovich has zero legal training: she is a former secretary in a law practice who apparently helped the lawyers in her firm extort millions of dollars in a bogus class action lawsuit years ago. The Gore campaign dropped an old DUI arrest record on Bush II very close to election day.Reub wrote:Some are saying that Trump will release divorce papers that were filed in 2000 by the Obama's.

Yes, I remember that story. Normally I would be annoyed by this one, if this is what Trump has in mind, except for what happpened to Jack Ryan in Chicago.

Michael Fumento an award winning journalist has written a long list of articles over the years about environmental health scares. Naturally he chronicles Erin Brockovich’s long list of idiotic and misleading pronouncements regarding legal cases where she has been involved. Completely proves that she is nothing more than a sleazy golddigger and liar. The movie Erin Brockovich turns the real Erin Brockovich into some kind of idealist activist fighting against insurmountable odds. The truth is the exact opposite.
