Portfolio Performance Tracking

For those looking for ways to chart their VP and PP performance kapitall.com is a relatively new website (about a year old). They just released an new iPad app the other day, so I decided to give their portfolio tracking site a try. I've gotta say, it's by far the best free portfolio tracking website I've seen so far. The site is a little confusing at first, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. If you want to manually create a hypothetical portfolio, just create a "Mirrored Portfolio" and then choose "Other" and you can manually enter your transactions. Kapitall also allows users to share portfolios with each other socially.

Dividends (just deposited to cash) were included in my Portfolio on the fly — it was almost too easy. I was particularly impressed with the ability to track, share and group different stocks and funds for easy comparisons into groups for comparison charting. An ideal site for experimenting with different allocations and strategies. Very impressive.
