Hi PPers,

My portfolio requires me to have 8 to 10 ETFs. Can you give me some suggestions of ETFs so that I can use to create a 8-ETF to 10-ETF Permanent Portfolio? Thank you.

Stocks:
VTI
VT
SCHB

Bonds:
TLT
EDV
VGLT

Gold:
GTU
IAU
SGOL

Cash:
SHY
SHV
SCHO

I use most of those ETFs in my various PPs and I'm quite satisfied.

Do you have any way to simplify it?

The portfolio requires in such a way that no specific position is more than 10% of the whole.

This seems unnecessarily complicated. There is a fine line between prudence and paranoia. I suggest sticking to one ETF each, from different fund families, for the cash, stocks and bonds. Gold ideally should be held physically, but if you are going to go with an ETF you might want to split that one up. That said I don't have any issues with the funds you have chosen. I just don't see a justification for that many.
