Wall Street and the Corruption of the Municipal Bond Market

An interesting article on the Muni Bond Market. Disclaimer; the author has an ideological axe that she grinds quite a bit in the essay. But I think many of her points are fair.

[Edit] I wasn't really sure where to post this since Munis are not properly speaking a part of the PP. I don't really see them as a VP component even. So I settled for here. In general I have said that the only people who should ever look at Munis are those who are very wealthy and willing to handle the higher level of volatility that these bonds produce. Unless you are firmly in the top income tax bracket they just make no sense at all.
