EMC - undervalued compared to peers, storage is a hot market

I have a lot of direct knowledge of this industry as an enterprise storage and systems architect. Right now (and for the past few years), EMC has been hitting all the right notes. Recently their largest competitor, NTAP, was downgraded. NTAP has a much higher forward P/E ratio, yet they are losing market share to EMC.
The global storage market is growing at an exponential pace. Companies are realizing the value of their data, and want to hold onto every last piece of it, forever. At a personal level, I think this might be a bad thing, as companies find ways to mine this data for advertising and other purposes which invade our privacy, but the trend is clear, and the total data storage of the human population will continue to increase exponentially for the foreseeable future.
