At Radical Social Entrepreneurs, we are introducing two crucial new categories of social entrepreneurship: legal entrepreneurship and cultural entrepreneurship. Most of the world’s deepest problems will not be solved by our existing legal frameworks, nor will they be solved without transformations of community and culture.

I finally got the chance to check this out. Lots of fascinating ideas on how entrepreneurship could be applied to a wide variety of problems. I like the way that they start from zero and discard a great number of the monopolistic frameworks that we view as monolithic, eternal and unchanging. Once you set those assumptions aside, many problems that seem intractable yield a variety of exciting potential solutions.
The cool thing about this "social entrepreneurship" concept is that you don't have to guess which one idea will work. You find a way to try them, discard what doesn't work, and retain what does.
Government, however, works by choosing one (usually very poorly constructed idea) and then imposing it by force on everyone. This is exceedingly unlikely to yield good results.
