Time logged in

At the top of the home page, we are greeted with a total time logged in statistic; at present I sit at 18 hours and 50 minutes. I may be in the minority here, but this makes me feel guilty when I come to read the latest posts (with thoughts of what else I should be doing with my time). I think it is an interesting statistic, and in reality we might all benefit from having a clock on our computers, telling us this same thing. Still, I wish it were not right on the top, near my favorite link (show unread posts).

One man's perspective.

Does that mean that time we spend here no longer counts?

When thinking about the matter of whether we as humans have the opportunity to achieve any sort of conscious immortality, consider how exactly such time would be spent when it's so difficult just finding interesting ways of spending however many years of life we have here on earth.

Imagine the craig PP forum in heaven.  At the top it would read: "Total time logged in: forever."

Reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode where the guy thinks he's in heaven and finds out at the end that he's somewhere else.
