Here is a nice Emmitt Smith highlight reel.

It was a lot of fun being a Cowboys fan during Emmitt Smith's career.  Watching the highlights today it's amazing how much strength, balance and speed he had.

When you look at his career stats here, it's just jaw dropping.  11 seasons of 1,000+ rushing yards, plus an extra 1500+ career rushing yards in the playoffs.

In 13 seasons in Dallas, Smith missed 5 games due to injuries.  (Equally impressive, in his last 9 seasons in Detroit, Barry Sanders missed zero games due to injuries.)

In the 1994 season, Smith rushed 368 times, had 50 receptions, and fumbled once.  In that same 1994 season, Barry Sanders rushed 331 times, had 44 receptions, and had zero fumbles.  In 1994, Smith rushed for 1,484 yards and 21 TDs and Sanders rushed for 1,883 yards and 7 TDs.  That was a great year for running backs.
