Gyroscopic Investing

Recently I was able to get two friends interested in the PP.  Over the past two weeks I've gotten 5-6 phone calls from these people asking me to clarify certain points.  Outside of giving some pointers on how to buy gold, most of the time I just had to point out the appropriate article in Craig's blog  (Thanks Craig!). 

I get the impression this site has helped quite a few other people as well.

Nice work!  My results have been mixed but I've got a (very small) handful of "converts".

The nice thing about the gold bit is that even if someone is feeling a little skittish about physical gold, the ETFs are there as a more "mainstream" fallback if someone is just too darn nervous.  Can't make the perfect the enemy of the good and all that.

Maybe I didn't write that clearly enough.  What I meant was I referred them to the appriopriate article that answered their question each time they called, so I actually had them read several of Craig's blog posts/FAQs.  Questions questions dealt with things like 1) How do I purchase gold from a dealer?, 2) Why can't I just use long term corporate bonds since they have a higher yield?, 3) What are the rebalancing bands?.

The lengthiest question for me to answer was the gold buying questions.  From my personal notes to these guys I just typed up my post on the gold buying forum which I put up a few minutes ago. 

Thanks FarmerD... I thought Craig maybe had some kind of mind-altering megapost usable to convert anyone to the PP, from Gold-bugs to Grandma.
