Gyroscopic Investing

Alas, it's paywalled. Could you repost to the forum with a gift link, or does anybody know a hack to view this article?

I know it's not a "true" 4x25 HBPP but PRPFX is showing returns of +8.15% YTD, and + 18.3% for the last 12 months. Compare that to IWV (Russell 3000 ETF) at -3.67% YTD and +7.96% 1-year respectively.

I have about 20% of my overall portfolio in a self-managed HBPP, and my investment guy is forever telling me what a loser gold and bonds are, and how I need to hand him the keys/funds so I can finally make some "real money." I keep telling him this is a defensive set of investments, "money I can't afford to lose," and he can't have it. Suffice it to say, my self-managed little corner is outpacing his investments. In HB I trust.

Basically it’s not a ground breaking article. Just the usual stuff.
