The Trump ABC interview

What I just put on Facebook:
Watched this with someone last night.
We each made comments to one another while watching. We both agreed on our reactions to all we were hearing.
The POSITIVE:
1. It's always struck me during all these times Trump speaks to anyone (here, his free interactions with the press) that he is an engaged listener. For the most part he really does listen to the questioner before answering a question.
2. He is a charmer. Can see why so many are attracted to him.
3. In comparison to his predecessor ... he is all there and is a quick thinker. Exudes a lot of energy.
4. There was one question where he properly called out the interviewer for making an asserted statement with no basis and asked him why he was not, instead, asking a question.
I was not taking notes so this is all I remember about the POSITIVE.
The NEGATIVE
1. Constant, constant, unending lying. Either he knows he is or does not know. If it is actually the latter .. that is worse than the former.
2. He behaves and talks like an 8th grader! That is not a case of plain speaking. It's a case of someone with arrested intellectual development.
3. His refusing to let go of the MS 13 tattoo on the fingers of the person sent to El Salvador by mistake and whether it was real or photoshopped was entertaining on one level. But quite sad for the country to have a president so obsessed with such a minor item (the tattoo, not what ultimately happens to this person).
4. An inability to be consistent from one statement to the next. Another case of arrested intellectual development.
5. His outright rudeness. Towards the interviewer. Towards Canada. Towards anyone who disagrees with him in any way! Just continues to be a national embarrassment to the rest of the world.
Again. I was not taking notes. This list would have also been longer if I had been.
