I really enjoyed this podcast. I don't believe I had heard of Henry Olsen before but will start paying attention to him. He did a great job of describing current political sides that helped me understand them better.

RFK Jr could be an interesting wild card.

Last I heard was that he could attract more Trump voters than Biden voters.

He'd never get my vote. I put him in the crackpot category.

The 2024 race is shaping up to be really interesting.

What percentage of Americans ever know who is running against one another for President. How many can even say who is the current president?

Last I heard it is Calvin Coolidge. Won't it be nice if we get "silent Cal" again in 2024? He won't be that much older than the fossils who are running.

Did not at all correctly write what I'd intended to write!

I was reacting to Smith1776, a Canadian commenting on the United States presidential election and I had intended to be asking:

"What percentage of Americans even know who is running against one another for President of Canada in 2024? How many can even say who is the current President of Canada?

There is no president of Canada.

So I am a shining example of how Canadians know what is going on here while many of us in the United States are ignorant of what is going on in Canada.

Is the position Prime Minister? If so, is it an elected position?

Just glancing at this .. it seems like it is a much more complicated system than ours.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/45th_Cana ... l_election

But maybe that is because it's completely unfamiliar with to me.

Perhaps, our resident Canadian can explain the similarities and differences to the American system. Seems he knows much more of what is going on in the United States than I do in Canada, which, in my case, is almost nothing.
