Anyway, looks like crypto is not delivering on the subvert authority angle.

One possible angle is that all you have to do to derail citizens taking back their country is put a person in the protest with a Trump flag, confederate flag, or a some kind of antisemitic sign and boom its not legit.

On a personal note, I've been life long democrat. But I'm done. I know very wealthy Wall Street guys who's health care I pay for. My kids are muzzled. Every time, I turn around, another bleeding heart has their hand in my pocket, I subsidize tuition for white PhD couples because they show no assets but have been supported their whole lives by Mommy and Daddy, only to smile smugly while the dumb ass immigrant whose been saving every penny forever pays for them.

Wow thats a rant. But basically I think the Dems are toast completely.

I think that, as boglerdude said above, there are always going to be crazies within a “normal” protest, for lack of a better word, once it gets large enough. Even non-protest gatherings, say a post-football-game celebration, brings people who jump on top of cars and dent them in my town.

But, as for your false flag idea above, I don’t know. It kind of reminds me of people trying to suggest that the Jan 6 incursion was perpetrated by antifa. It just wasn’t. Occam’s razor says, well, what’s outlined in the paragraph above is the most likely.

There are people who will use any excuse to loot, to smash things, and to hold up a flag or sign for their own cause.
i guess i’m just wondering out loud how many Occupy Wall Street people and how many in the convoy share the hatred in the tweet i posted. Because it seems like popular movements, i.e. anti-capitalist or anti-government anti-establishment movements tend to go in that direction.

I became a Hoftstader fan when our 11th grade history teacher introduced us to him was back in 1967. I have at least two of his books. The American Political Tradition is a classic?

Canada was starting to go in the direction of Australia. The US was nowhere near as bad (yet).

Re. Trudeau - In my opinion he absolutely exudes elitism in his speech, manerisms, and the way he dresses and styles his hair. I expect he views the Canadian (and USA) peons and truckers to be so far beneath him that he can't relate.
