On which side will this crew be on? Or, will it be like the Civil War with brother fighting brother so that they will be fighting against one another?

Yesterday I heard someone discussing the possibilities of a present day civil war. The person pointed out it's made more difficult without each side holding specific geographic territories. Our "blue" states have "red" nodes all over the place within them and the same for the "red" states.
