At first glance I was sure this post was spam!

Not spam.
It had fig bars, banana chips, coconut chips, 2 bags of coffee, and kind of a cheap version of a Yeti: a tall coffee cup with a metal interior and a clear removable lid with a good seal and a sliding thing to let you sip from the top.
I googled it and found a brief conversation about it.

Maybe their average consumer credit card rakes in a lot more money in combined interest and transaction fees than their average corporate credit card does?

Transaction fees would be the same. Interest, maybe, but I pay both my personal and business cards off in full each month. Can't speak for other business owners. I can say that I average about $4000+ in purchases every month on my corporate card, so I'm probably worth sending a box of banana chips to to keep my business, no?
You get MY vote that you SHOULD have been sent one!

Uh-oh, are they going to
lose business over this?

Have you all seen the Frans de Waal video of the monkey that was happy with her peanut until the monkey in the neighboring cage gets a grape? (The peanut is an inferior treat).
