Yes, it is up to the general public to hold politicians accountable. We allow this to continue. I don't even care what side you are on politically, hypocrisy and lying and cheating should not be tolerated. We need to be honest referees in this process...not partisan fans of one team or the other. It's the honesty of the game we should have primary allegiance to.
