Wow.
There must have been about 20 callers. Here's a rough breakdown:
13 Republicans, all voting for Trump.
1 black guy who was afraid that his kids would be targets of police brutality; I assume he is voting for Biden but he didn't say.
6 lifelong Democrats.
They and their families are all voting for Trump, and some of them specifically said that they were switching registrations to Republican.
The most common reason stated was the riots, with the frequent mentions of God in the convention speeches in second place.
I assume this must be at least somewhat representative of those who aren't blind partisans for either side, that is, potential swing voters, because otherwise I don't know why they're watching CSPAN.
If that's true, then this election is going to be an epic disaster for the Democrats. They may not survive as a national party.
If you liked that put on C-Span now so you can listen to Steve Cortes. Trump 2020 Campaign Senior Adviser for Strategy.
He's obviously quite pro-Trump and will be on for at least the next 30 minutes (commercial-free, of course).

How did you rate the neutrality of the C-Span host?

I didn't detect any obvious bias. All he did was ask questions of the callers, mostly the same one about what they thought Pence had meant by making sure that America stays America.
I've been watching and listening to them for 35 years. I discovered C-Span one day when I saw the leader singer of Twisted Sister testifying when Al Gore's wife wanted labels put in records.
After all those years of listening to various hosts, several of them for decades, I could not tell you which way any of them lean personally. As I'd written earlier some of the Democratic callers will accuse some of them of always favoring the Republicans and then vice versa. But I've never detected any bias in any of them.
