The mayor of Portland says the same thing. He won't tell the rioters that they are bad, but he tells them they are helping to elect Trump. OK.

I don't think the rioters really give a damn about who wins the election.

My theory is that a lot of young peoples spent too much time in COVID lockdown playing Grand Theft Auto or other violent video games and decided it would be even more fun to do it for real.

The Dem politicians on the other hand? I expect they'll all start changing their tune when they realize their own heads are going to be on the chopping block.

Too little too late. The election is in about two months. The Dems had their chance earlier this year to turn things around and pursue a more sensible election strategy, but they completely blew it.

The Democrats ignored many issues that eventually led to Donald Trump's election. I think that the Republicans are ignoring a lot of issues that are leading to social unrest. Our society has become stratified to a degree that is starting cause destabilization. The wealth gaps between working class and upper management has grown too wide and our political system is no longer of, by, and for the people...it has been coopeted by money and powerful interests. Human history is full of revolutions...and they usually suck in terms of outcomes. I think the Republicans would be wise to take a closer look at that history.

Overwhelming video evidence of rioting / looting - "Who said protests have to be peaceful"
Biden dropping in the polls due to peace protests - "The Riots need to stop"

The rioters want civil war. They've tried to get the police to shoot at them. They succeeded in getting the kid in Kenosha to shoot at them.
