Now that people are being killed the folks at CNN and MSNBC must be finally realizing they are going to have to cover it. They are probably huddling together right now trying to figure out the best way to blame it on Donald Trump.

Crazy. I just posted last night that it seemed like a deadly shootout like this would happen within a week or two, then it happened later that same night.

IMO it's pretty egregious for police* to fail to get riots under control, so that citizens are forced to defend themselves. Then to make it worse, they go after people when they do.
* Maybe more accurate to say cities. Police might be willing to protect their cities, but are being restrained by politicians/DAs. I don't really know.

Serious question, has Trump tried to call for calm and healing? Or does he only threaten to send in the military/National Guard?
Maybe he will tonight in his acceptance speech? Do one or the other I guess. Doing both would be strange, but not inconsistent with how he does things.
If the left is using this for political gain to perpetuate the "Trump climate of hatred" then the right sure is also using it to push law and order and scare suburban housewives as well.

Really they are following thru on their promises. They told you 4 years ago if you elected Trump that the country would erupt into chaos. It's not the right's fault that leftists are burning, looting, and murdering. If the right uses that fact to their political advantage, the left can handle that problem very simply by stopping the violence.

Trump’s tweet, although he does say “suburban housewives,” is in a different context (not the riots). That being said, Trump should have addressed his tweet to all suburban dwellers and not just housewives.

Where are protests/rioting currently active? I know Portland is ongoing.
And I understand why Kenosha is happening (not that I agree with the violent aspects of it).
But are there other, still ongoing widespread riots and lootings happening?
Do they not mostly generally coincide with the latest black person killed (regardless of justified)?
So unless black people continue to get killed (quite possible), don't these protests lose steam and wind down, to be mostly forgotten 2.5 months from now, i.e. by election time?

all over the country bro. Seattle (rioters tried to burn officers alive after cementing the precinct doors shut), DC, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Denver, Minneapolis. Don't you live in Chicago? They arrested a ton of people rioting there less than 2 weeks ago.
