Since I’m the jerk who mistakenly thought this post got deleted and implied a moderator may have done it, I feel obligated to at least comment.
Does anyone else get the sense that we’re only a week or two (at the most) away from a high-profile shooting death involving armed BLM/Antifa clashing with armed homeowners, business owners, or counter-protestors?
I really don’t like where this is headed.

It certainly looks as though we are headed for a civil war.
If Trump is not re-elected it will be extremely violent and possibly prolonged because the Democrats will try to abolish the Bill of Rights as a prelude to totalitarian rule.
If he is re-elected it will be less violent and much shorter.
Civil War?
Last time we had one, there were states that stayed in the union and those that seceded. The army of the latter wore uniforms (as did the ones who stayed in the union).
Who specifically constitutes each side? How will they be identified? How do I know who in my town / county I am fighting?

"The Civil War" was largely not a civil war. A civil war is typically multiple factions wrestling for control of a central government. "The Civil War" was a war of secession, like the American Revolution. But you can say that it was a civil war in some places: Kentucky and Missouri for example each had two governments.

Have you seen any of the clips of BLM going into restaurants and harassing people? This is just one of many....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRi-3ReSTMs
They're mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore because black people are dying at the hands of the police every day. One group I saw in another clip was standing outside shouting "silence is violence" while other members were inside demanding that people say "black lives matter" and raise their hands in a power salute. Strangely a lot of people obeyed. If you didn't you got verbally harassed with a black woman in your face.
Strangely, the group in the clip above is mostly white.
I heard Kamala Harris say the other day that these people aren't going to stop so I guess we should listen to her and decide whether we are going to join the new religion or not.
If this ever happens to me I'm probably going to end up getting beat up by the peaceful protesters because I won't be able to keep my mouth shut.

I dare them to try that around here.
They'll be lucky if they are just hauled away by the police.

Not that kind of civil war.
You'll be fighting alongside your neighbors in your local militia.
The enemy will be invaders trying to burn down your city or town.
Like in Portland, Seattle, Kenosha, Philadelphia, Chicago...
If so, they may not do so well in my town. In 1994 an EMT told me that my town had the highest rate of gun ownership in either the county or the state. Forgetting which she said. Been too long.

Sounds good to me.
However, I don't see my neighborhood as being a prime area for conflict given its lack of population density and no businesses.

This has been brewing for a long time.
People have been preparing for this, with Gun ownership rising fast.
Most guns/ammo has been sold out of certain types.
So the violent groups are pushing for change. and the violence will only escalate until a stronger force intercedes.
I think we will get a steady stream of Violent Protests until election, then the gloves come off.
