Yes, some of us do have a lot of free time, me more than Libertarian666 who seems to be quite busy in his golden years.

I watched this on my back porch last night,enjoying my evening pipe and glass of beer, while unwinding from my stressful day of having to cut the grass and make my wife something for dinner.

I only knew Scott Adams from the Dilbert cartoons my cubicle neighbor posted every day for the last 10 years of my career but I hit the "Subscribe" button after watching this.

What he said in this video sounds like a weird conspiracy theory but what I saw on the news only tended to confirm what he was saying. Are the Democrats really going to go down the road of blaming the riots on Trump, his white supremacist supporters and the Russians? If Adam Schiff launches a new investigation then I'm going to have to conclude it's not a conspiracy theory at all.

For those who don't know what we're talking about, Scott Adams is saying that the Democrats are in possession of some military grade technology used for the purpose of propaganda and brainwashing. He says if we think we've seen fake news already we ain't seen nothing yet.

When you combine this with keeping people in their homes due to the pandemic with the only sources of information being what you can get staring at a TV or computer screen, the social media giants working to censor one version of reality over another, and mail-in ballots so people don't have to even venture outside to see what's going on, it sounds like it would make a movie that would have seemed too far-fetched to even be believable a few months ago.

Yes, that's what he says in that video. Just remember he's the author of the Dilbert cartoons so take it as seriously as you want. Personally, I'm finding looking at the news this way to be slightly less depressing and a little more entertaining.

Just think about yesterday's news cycle. You have Bill Clinton bringing up once again the idea that Trump will not leave the white house and the military will have to intervene and then you have a story about how Trump supposedly was disrespectful to WW1 veterans. Combine with a headline one day earlier about how the majority of the military supports Biden.

Very entertaining indeed.

I liken it to the simulation theory of the universe - a weird idea but it fits the evidence.

I mean, I like Scott Adams. Not just Dilbert, but also a lot of his political posts. Forum members here set me straight on the 'fine people on both sides' hoax which I picked up from the media, and they did it by linking to Adams.

But, propaganda and brainwashing- don't you just need a used laptop for that? Deepfaking is becoming easier and soon anyone will be able to type in what they want a public figure to say. Military grade technology- it's not just that it sounds like a conspiracy theory (it does), but what would you need it for?
