Officer Aaron Snell issued a press release, on behalf of the Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team, about the shooting, "According to video footage and witnesses, a male exited the Pontiac and walked towards the police SUV while firing a handgun at it. The male then ran from the scene as the police SUV continued forward, glanced off the Pontiac and rolled several hundred yards before coming to a stop against a tree."
Shoop was killed, while the other was wounded. That officer has since been released from the hospital.
Washington was arrested without further incident after officers found him in the early hours of the morning hiding on a nearby roof. A handgun was found on his person.
Sounds about right.

Reminds me of our local TV station that frequently broadcasts Crime Stoppers crime reenactments. A convenience store robber viewed the "reenactment" of his crime and assumed they had caught him on store cameras while committing the crime. He turned himself in................

Pretty sure the mother posted that after her son was arrested... am I missing something?
