It's funny. We were watching a documentary on Bitcoin recently and the subject of Ukraine came up. Apparently, for a time, Bitcoin was the only way to get financial aid to Ukrainians in the midst of the war.

I am further getting immortalized!

First was Dualstow earlier. By the way, until yesterday I did not know Grok was AI! With all the strange names in this forum I thought it was someone in this forum. Today I saw why as I did see someone with that name in Bogleheads.

But just tonight I've been also immortalized by song with my penchant for taking many pictures of local bands.

There are two versions of the song here with the lyrics below.

Ha! I listened to the first track and it’s not bad at all. Good job…Suno. Didn’t know it existed.

I still have not yet got the answer to me asking how the lyrics were created, i.e., how much information was supplied.

That seems so little for it to generate all that it did.

As we celebrate the solution to fix this cursed world, remember to offer your thanks and praise for all He did, is doing, and will do - for you! Merry Christmas everyone. Blessings.

Did you ever imagine this would end up becoming the most populous thread on this forum when you started it, Mountaineer? 😁

In the 1980s, Buffett became friends with Warren Buffett and a shareholder in Berkshire Hathaway, increasing his stake over the years. They called each other "Cousin Jimmy" and "Uncle Warren" though they were not related.

I always thought my investing style was more Jimmy Buffett than Warren Buffett

Are you more of a cheeseburger in paradise or fins fan? There certainly are a lot of sharks in the investment world getting fat on money with which you could have had a lot of cheeseburgers, and possibly have been in paradise while waiting for the big one. 😉

And, to answer Smither’s question, absolutely not! 🤣🤣🤣

Happy 3rd day of Christmas to all.

Cheeseburgers, Mr M. Definitely cheeseburgers 🍔

I will not be playing the lottery this weekend. The Mega Millions jackpot is just too many cheeseburgers. I’d be terrified if we won.

This is my favorite JB song and the only one I ever bought:

I have 7,000 records, 5,000 CDs, and a TB of electronic music files.

I may not have one song of his. I would have never purposely bought one. From the little I've heard never appealed to me.

But he's obviously acquired enough fans to become a rich music person?

I do like a lot of what I’ve heard by him. But, I don’t buy much music anymore. It’s all on youtube.

Just totally underscores how much he is outside my music orbit that anything about him is basically ignored / not paid attention to.

In the LTT purchase thread, you asked about chatGPT being “a permanent presence in websites.” I should add that it is being embedded into operating systems, like ipadOS 18. So, you’ll always have it with you. It doesn’t need to be added to websites. And of course, it’s always a click away if you’re on an older OS. Google, X, OpenAI…
