Is there anyone here who'd vote for him.

I reject him along with Trump and Biden. Still deciding who will get my vote.

Any of you running??

I guess a vote for RFK would say “I know he’s not going to win, and yet I can’t stomach voting for either of the other two.” Or perhaps, “I’m handing a victory to Trump, but I cannot do it directly.”

1. I'm a "can’t stomach voting for any of the three".

2. Is it conclusive that he draws more Biden voters? I've several times heard it might be the other way.

3. At this point I might do a write-in vote for the Secretary of State of Michigan.

No one knows. The conventional belief is that if enough people just stay home, Biden will lose. But who knows?

Just picked up the new 15" MacBook Air with M3 chip. 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, naturally.

I'm a big fan of this Midnight colour!

Those RAM and storage specs seem like about what you'd get 10 years ago on a Windows computer. Are these typical specs for Apple computers?

My old Thinkpad T510 is still one of the best machines I’ve ever used.

The trackpoint is super underrated.

The typical for Macs is even less than this. The base models have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Believe it or not, the one I just bought is the highest end stock config they have.

For such expensive computers why do they skimp so much on RAM and storage? Modern day storage is so inexpensive. Same for RAM.

It really has to be a semi-cult to willingly pay such prices and not go to the alternatives.

As I've said many, many, many times. I have so many Apple products. But never yet on of their computers as they always seem to represent poor value compared to the alternative.

While I don’t consider myself a fanboy, I can tell you that I find Macs to be totally reliable. I did return the new one when it ignored my old peripherals, but I’m still using the ten-year-old one.

#1 thing: don’t have to worry about Windows licenses. You just upgrade when a new OS has been around for a bit, and then when the hardware is old enough that you can update no more you just do nothing. O0

Only sad thing is that my new Dell monitor (that I bought for the new mac) is sitting idle, much like your dream machine down the hall, or wherever it is. I really should buy something to go with it.

It really depends on what you're doing.

As a web developer the Mac platform is indispensable to me. However, as a gamer I can't go without a Windows PC.
