Putting Toast in a search brings way too many irrelevant results. So need more context or information here.
I could give you a direct link, but it’s better if you spread your wings and fly.
How about typing it (“toast”) into wikipedia. That will bring you to a disambiguation page where you can select the software company.
Or you could type the previously mentioned ticker (TOST) into yahoo finance.
I'm a firm believer that the sender has the responsibility for communication being successful, not the receiver.

You've made it way too time consuming for something I don't have sufficient motivation to investigate.

It would have been much simpler / easier if you to had provided more information / context.

Isn't it easier to do a search (or just scroll up two posts) than to post asking what was meant?

Also he mentioned earnings in parentheses. And this is a "Moonshot" thread. I didn't know what "Toast" was either but it's pretty clear it's a company/stock.

Where in that post was there any indication that there had been any prior mention of it in this topic?

Yes, in retrospect that was more information. When I add "stock" and do a search of "Toast stock" I do get proper results, including seeing its symbols TOST.

I'm looking at its chart for this week.

I generally do not deal with or examine any individual stocks. But is it noteworthy that its price went from about $24 to about $27? From my limited understandings of stock prices that seems somewhat normal? Nothing out of the ordinary?

Well, Xan successfully explained to me and I just responded how If I'd thought more about the topic title and the word "earnings" then I should have known you were referring to a stock. Therefore, the additional helpful piece of information would have been its symbol (TOST). And, also why you thought there was any significant going on as I did not see anything out of the ordinary looking at its stock price graph for the week.

Not a moonshot, just a variable portfolio stock, but it doesn’t warrant its own thread.
Was I supposed to have remembered that this stock had been referred to here 1 1/2 months ago?

If anyone else did ... I am super impressed! There would have been no reason for me to remember since I have no interest in purchasing individual stocks though I do have interest in story stocks just for their stories, like Nvidia.

No. I mean it could be on its way down to $2 and change for all I know, so it is not particularly significant. Percentagewise, it is not a small gain, but I’m in it for the long haul (again, maybe on the way down) so that is also not terribly significant.

But, they recently turned a profit (Look how long it took Amazon) and I am hopeful that the shares are going to rise over the next several years.

Just a fun stock to watch. I remain a big believer in owning the total U.S. market with most of one’s equity money and I pay more for two years of cable than I have invested in this stock.

In all you say I'd triple underline: "fun stock"!

Anyone for Serv Robotics/ SERV?
Are you out there, Greg, aka 1nv3st0r?

Lululemon is back down to around the same price as when I was looking at it a few years ago: two hundred dollars and change.

After touching as high $500 per share one point.

I'm really glad I don't speculate seriously.

Well I was going to post something here, but I'm too busy laughing about Vin's post at the bottom of the previous page, and boglerdude's response at the top of this one. Forgot what I was going to say.
