Canada's central bank Governor, Stephen Poloz, is basically saying that interest rates are going to be low for the foreseeable future due to structural reasons in the economy.

Yup, as soon as I read something like that, I think to myself: interest rates are about to skyrocket 1970s style.

The problem is major changes happen because of the stuff we all don’t see coming that isn’t on the radar yet ....it rarely is this stuff we see that sends us reeling ..it is changes in the stuff we don’t expect that alters courses , things like oil shock as an example
