Best place to live to pay off debt?

Just discovered this article from my local newspaper:

I work in the place which is cited as the best place to live in my state to pay off debt.
Do any of you either live or work in the best place in your state to pay off debt?

No. I thought the article was nonsense. The income statistics she cites are not in the realm of reality. Looks like a poorly written clickbait article.

The article and the rankings web site page said this: "The rankings are based on the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (2017 5-year) estimates for median monthly housing costs, median family income in inflation-adjusted dollars, unemployment status, and means of transportation to work."
For the city (really a town) where I work these all seemed believable:
Median monthly housing costs: $1044
Median family income: $76,112
Unemployment: 3.8%
Public transit to work: 0.8%
Bicycle to work: 0.5%
Walk to work: 5.0%
Work from home: 8.2%

If you go to the Census data that she said she used, it's not what is listed in the article. For Greenfield, MA, the Census data for median family income is $70,729, which is pretty close to what she inflated it to in her article. But other ones aren't, like Helena AR, where the Census shows $27,250 but she cites $75,967.
