Trying to outpace the losses in PP with some VP day/swing trades... Though its causa perduta for the time being, as GOLD and TLT (especially the latter) are quite more consistent in losses than I am in my profits
PS. Here the third national lockdown is knocking on our doors. Its due to the Covid B1.1.7 (the UK variant as its widely known). I have the gut feeling that this battle is far from over, and that's why I take my current PP losses more lightheartedly

Yep ...I have to much invested in it at this point not to give it a chance ...my only regret is the model I left has sustained so little bond damage it is up to ytd while switching to the pp sustained heavy losses in Tlt and Gld ...over 110k in those two

Go back 6 months. You have one crystal ball event in your life and know where TLT is goin to be on March 17th. You get out. You saved a ton of loss.
Are you still really buying that Maserati?

Yes ...unfortunately my wife didn’t say no when I said for my 70th birthday I wanted to get something a little crazy.
Still 1-1/2 years out
I hate when I have no adult supervision and can just run amuck. Lol

And now with your respiratory issues, I think 3 Ukrainian hookers are a more likely cause of death than a Maserati

Our mayor is decriminalizing street hookers.... maybe I can get a note from my wife .....the only reason I want two or three is so they have someone to talk to while I nap

You should be thankful then that it saved you from purchasing a truly awful car.

"Fuck you, Cindy" says mathjak107 solemnly, spreading his arms wide and bowing his head. A beatific smile playing across his face. The streetwalker, confused by his request, obliged him with several powerful thrusts of the small knife she kept in case she ran across weirdos like this guy.
He manages to choke out a faint chuckle as the streetwalker rifles his pockets to fuel her meth habit.
"Let's see her nag me about the Maserati now. I welcome death," he says, faintly, as the streetwalker, Destiny, itches her crotch. Was it crabs, or poison ivy? Both were plausible, she thought. She leaves the scene without deciding.

I don't get the maserati thing. I've driven hundreds of them...not a single one impressed me. The quattroporte has those goofy little fake air intake screens on the side.

Well excuse me fine sir...
I’ve never driven anything but an SUV so that would be my choice as well. I’m sure it can’t be worse than my MZ GLE350 that senses 10 out of every 5 potential collisions.

Kriegs can turn any thread around. If only I had watched Phantom Menace in a bar with his commentary instead of in the theater.

Were you heartened at all by Powell’s statements? I know the 10-year is up today (above 1.7%), but no major hikes for a long time.

The market will determine the 10 and 30 year rates.
Fed can only control the overnight lending rate.
