One of the saddest of songs.
Family legend has it we are distantly related to Lord George Murray (who my grandfather was supposedly named after), participant in the battle of Culloden, and sixth son of John Murray, 1st Duke of Atholl. That branch of the family came to America after a 12 year old boy was kidnaped in 1720 by Brittish sailors/traders in Edinburg. I believe he spent his early years as an apprentice to a Presbyterian preacher before migrating to what is now West Virginia. Thanks for the beautiful Ella Roberts rendition of Loch Lomond and dredging up my family memories. I'll have to have a wee dram to celebrate later today. The photography in the YouTube video is a lot more spectacular than I remember Loch Lomond being from my vantage point. 8)

Normally, I'd have to go to a different kind of site to see a chick get spit on and beaten with sticks... but if you trust the algorithm, it will deliver ^-^ ^-^ ^-^ ^-^

That woman is disgusting. The woman she spits on is kind of cute, though.

Thanks! I may not watch it but I can certainly listen to it while doing computer work that does not require total brain attention while I am doing it.

Television gameshow "What's My Line" from Sunday September 20, 1959. The guest panelist is Groucho Marx and he pretty much destroys the regulars and guests. I can't believe this got past the censors.
