That's actually similar to one of my realistic dreams I have for my life. I'm really interested in being either the Fry Guy or the Burger Cooker/preparer at an In-N-Out. Something about how easily you can measure your progress during a day versus an engineering job or a program management job. You can say "I flipped 496 burgers today", and feel proud about that. It's actually one of the reasons why I loved working at Walgreens. The pay sucked, but I really enjoyed interacting with customers, stocking shelves, and straightening things. One of the big kicks I already enjoyed doing was asking the visible over 18 women (say in their 50's) for their ID when they were buying cigarettes. It always seemed to make their day as they said "thank you" in their now very hoarse voices and they smile (side note, I've always had a very good rapport with older women and flirtation for funzies, not sure why hah. It feels sort of like getting paid to work out, which is cool, though I'm pretty sure I wouldn't feel that way if I did it all day every day.
Although I think a lot of it is fake at this point, I love the premise of the TV show Undercover Boss.
