Agree with that as well. He made some excellent points. The fact that he turned out to be a fraud based on his ardent support of the PP on another forum had to have been one of the strangest things to happen on this forum in my two years here.
Specifically, he got me thinking that annuitizing a portion of my assets might be a good idea and he helped to get me thinking more deeply about the withdrawal phase & overall tax implications of SS, tax-deferred accounts, etc..

The term for that phenomenon is "dapper troll".

I didn't know that he was supporting the PP elsewhere. Anyone have a link?

Thanks, PS! That was from 2010 so it doesn't mean that he couldn't have grown to hate the concept later on though. Funny but I was helping an elderly friend try to beat a NYC parking ticket a few months ago and I came upon posts by mathjak about parking tickets. I sure give him credit for being well rounded and very opinionated!

Yes, clearly he soured on it. It's funny why he felt the need to construct an entire history in which he invested primarily in something else all along rather than just saying something as simple as, "My life circumstances changed and I don't like the PP anymore."
