I have finished 4 seasons of Breaking Bad. Mostly by having it on in the background while doing calculus or working out.
It is a fantastic show. Holy crap it's good. It makes me think of Dexter, except that what the protagonist is hiding is drugs instead of murder.

I gave every episode of every season my FULL attention. And, then went into Saul every season.
I had not watched any of either until last fall and winter. I devoured them quite quickly, watching many episodes in a sitting.
I first watched the movie, which made no sense to me because I had no background for it. But a few minutes after I watched the last episode of the last season I re-watched the movie. The second time around it made tons more sense.
I have a friend who watches the entirety of both Breaking Bad and Saul every winter.

Killing Me Softly
Has a financial theme throughout it with the 2008 financial crisis playing in the background on TVs and radios.

Is that on Netflix? Nothing with that title comes up in a search.
Yes. Sorry, the title is "Killing THEM Softly". I guess I the Roberta Flack song jumped into my mind as I typed the above!
For one of the portions where they were showing a few seconds of TV with Bush speaking my reaction was, "Whoa! I'm had been forgetting how really bad it was then. Worse than now in a lot of aspects."

I didn't like it. I watched about half and then gave up.
Loved it! My kind of movie in just about every way.

Anyone else been getting this error message? For the last several times I start the one movie I usually watch each night I get it...I then go back start the movie again and it starts with no further error message. I was attributing it to a guess that Netflix must presently be getting a lot more use than it ever has.
While I'm here....what percentage of you are strictly online? Strictly mail? Both? I am only online. I heard that the by mail selection is much greater?
Compared to Amazon Prime I find their genre categorization inferior. Don't like that you cannot see who the actors on in a scene like you can in an Amazon Prime movie. And, find it much more difficult to move trying to determine what movies are available in a certain genre. Too easy to slip to another genre or have TV series pop up.
Other than that once I'm on a movie I'm generally satisfied.

Try a different browser. I often find that fixes the issue.
If that's a set top box of some kind, try restarting it and your router.

I'm always using the same browser - Microsoft Edge. To fix it each time I just go back and start the movie again with no problem. Just checking to see if anyone had been experiencing any kind of similar problem.
To clarify I always use Microsoft Edge for Netflix, this forum, a few other things. But when it goes to a web site by clicking on something here or Twitter or an email, Microsoft Edge goes absolutely wild, hogging all my computer's resources. Therefore I try to always use Chrome for those items.

I'll watch that one next then!
The Wells Fargo scandal and the associated perverse behaviour is rampant in the industry. Of course, at most banks it's nowhere near as as severe. However, the general "atmosphere" is exactly the same. It's one of the reasons why I quite working in finance.

Just started it, but yeah, it sucks thinking about where some of our gold may have come from and under what circumstances.

Where can I find "Terminator" and "Mission Impossible" with Tom Cruise with no charge?
I recently learned I've been paying for Netflix and have been for years. Being detached on all things "video," I was surprised. When I learned the kiddies were watching Netflix on my 'dime,' I told them a nice gift box from Amazon would a nice thank you. Still waiting.
Thanks.

Molly's Game!
Excellent!
True story.
And, just found out that Molly has the same birthday as me! That adds her to the list of a handful of people who share my birthday, some of whom I just discovered now.

Terminator seems to be on cable all the time. I watched it late last night while cleaning up the kitchen.
Fun fact: OJ Simpson was a contender for the title role, but James Cameron didnโt think Simpson would be believable as a killer.

We tried โThe English Gameโ the other night. Itโs a kind of fictionalized history of soccer in England (late 19th century). Itโs ok, but nothing special. A Netflix original, I think.
