Do you have anything instrumental without the growling? I can tolerate it with Pantera but usually can't stand it.

You're right. That is serious metal. I like it.

This one is actually pretty interesting. The video chronicles the journey of Ariana Grande's butt as it makes its way through post-apocalyptic crowds and structures. The butt defends itself against attacks from wizards, and emerges from the depths of horror to witness a meteor strike that kills it. It's goddamn beautiful.
The music was insipid, but next time I'll just watch it with the audio off and a perky Hot Chip track in its place. Or perhaps something heavier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKxPzkafpKs
I'd like to think it's my Fucking Awesomeness, but there may have been other factors involved.MediumTex wrote:Wow!Kriegsspiel wrote:I recommend starting ABR 5 seconds into the Ariana Grande song.dualstow wrote: With a description like that, how could I not watch? How did you know about connecting those? It's the perfect video for the other song. I'm sure it's a vastly better video for the other song than for the song it was made for.
That's what The Butt said!Kriegsspiel wrote: I'd like to think it's my Fucking Awesomeness, but there may have been other factors involved.
Forward the crazy tornado footage video below to 1:20 and then turn on The Agony Scene.

Awesome.
Watching it live, I didn't think it was that good. Was that recording autotuned? I still think the standard was set by Demi Lovato.Desert wrote: For anyone who missed Lady Gaga's super bowl singing:

I guess what I'm asking you is, did she sound like that video when you watched it in real time? I was fucking riddled watching it live, so my opinion shouldn't count.Desert wrote:I don't know if the recording was modified. I was pleasantly surprised, listening to her in real time. But maybe my expectations of Lady Gaga were too low.Kriegsspiel wrote:Watching it live, I didn't think it was that good. Was that recording autotuned? But yeah, Demi Lavato definitely cranked it out nicely as well. Very different in style, sort of a shouting more than singing at some parts, but definitely great all around.
Some believe Whitney Houston set the bar impossibly high back in 1991:
