My bad. I should have said I was speaking of Christians. Those "homicide bombers" (please refer to them for what they really are, not what the media calls them) since most of them are not Christian are headed the other way .... Oh hell! I should have been more specific.Jan Van wrote:Ah, ok. So that's how suicide bombers get to heaven? I said "salaried employment" but actually it's neither: I achieved it primarily by outsized investment returns over the past 15 years.
I know that's supposed to be impossible, and of course there is an element of luck, the results being mostly attributable to over-allocation to a specific asset class. I'll let everyone guess which one that is.

techno, you investment animal! I don't think it's supposed to be impossible to accumulate most of your wealth through investing... it's just not something that folks should count on. I am curious if you are now following a proper PP or has your success made you feel that you can market time? Anyway, good for you!

Thanks! No, I'm still following my own path. So far, so good, although 2013 was pretty ugly!barrett wrote: techno, you investment animal! Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.
