"Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is. "

Meh. Global warming (natural or manmade) happens over very long timescales. Even the IPCC acknowledges in its most recent draft report in December that global temperatures are unchanged in the last 15 years (and are below their projections, BTW).MachineGhost wrote: I think everyone needs to keep global warming in mind. In another 10-20 years, these already hot, desert areas will get even hotter.

Pick where you want to live based on what you know now and not what someone tells you might happen 20 years from now.

Yeah, move north until the Greenland icecap melts and shuts off the Gulf Stream. Hello ice age.
It's as likely as any other scenario. Truth is nobody knows what next year is going to look like and planning a move based around global warming seems ridiculous unless you're on one of those archipelagos that are being wiped out right at the moment by rising sea levels.

Wisdom is admitting you don't know.RuralEngineer wrote: Truth is nobody knows what next year is going to look like
Being sure you know and ridiculing those who don't agree with you...is something else entirely.
It was good being the party of Robin Hood. Until they morphed into the Sheriff of Nottingham
